The AMS facility is also equipped
to provide 10Be measurements. Beryllium oxide targets are used in the accelerator to measure the 10Be content of samples.
For samples with ratios of 10Be/9Be = 10 -13, 10
Be rates of ~7 counts per minute can be obtained. The blank is ~1 x 10-14 10Be/9Be.
