Although samples can come in many different forms, we, at the Arizona AMS facility, catagorize them into two main submission groups. These groups are standard (including but not limited to charcoal, wood, shell, bone, art works and pottery), and regulated (including but not limited to foreign and domestic regulated soils and some sediments). If you need help detemining which group your sample(s) falls into, please contact Amanda Halawani (1-520-621-6810), (halawani@email.arizona.edu).

Submission information for each sample type is given below.

Standard Samples:

To submit your sample, please fill out one billing address form, a sample information sheet for each sample and a signed sample dating agreement form. Mail your samples to the address below with the above completed documents. Your invoice will be sent to you shortly after we receive your samples.

Regulated Samples:

Contact us prior to shipping the shipping of your sample(s) in order to obtain the proper USDA PPQ Form 550 Black/White Label. To submit your sample, please fill out one billing address form, a sample information sheet for each sample and a signed sample dating agreement form. In addition, a copy of our USAD Soil Permit must be included both within and outside of the shipment. Special packing and labeling is also necessary to ensure no problems with the Port of Arrival Inspection Station.
