Douglas J. Donahue

Professor Emeritus of Physics (Ph.D., 1952, University of Wisconsin). Dr. Donahue co-founded the AMS facility in Arizona and his work established the groundwork for AMS laboratories worldwide.

Dr. Donahue has published on a wide range of academic research interests, including studies of the Shroud of Turin, the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Vinland Map. He is actively involved in radiocarbon calibration studies of tree rings, applications of AMS using 10Be and applications using 129I.
