Posters
The space for poster displays is 4 feet by 4 feet. You should be able to put up the
posters on Monday, and they will remain on display through Thursday afternoon. If you wish
to take your poster home, please remove it before 3:00 PM on Thursday afternoon.
When you set up your poster, notice whether your chosen slot is labelled
"A" or "B". If "A", please attend the poster from 6:30-7:30 (at least), and
if "B" from 7:30 to 8:30.
Parallel talks
Parallel talks are 15 minutes long, with a 5 minute interval for questions.
Each room will have a video projector and a transparency projector.
If you are using a laptop to give your talk, there will be a two
position switch. So, if you are giving the first or second talk in
a session you can set your laptop up before the session begins. For
subsequent talks, bring your laptop up during the question period
after the previous talk and plug into the open port.
Each room should have a remote mouse for laptops. If you use this,
please be sure to leave the antenna when you are done.
Plenary talks
The room for the plenary talks will have a video projector and a transparency projector.
If you are using a laptop to give your talk, please set it up at
the front of the room before the start of the session. There will
be a switch connecting several computer ports to the projector.
So, if you are giving the first talk in the session, plug your laptop
into port number one, etc. If you use a remote mouse for your
laptop (we provide this), please be sure to leave the antenna after
you are finished.
