Past Events

Every once in while we have speakers come to our meetings to give talks on whatever they might work on or know quite well. Here are a few of the talks we've had so far this year.
  • Dr. Fulvio Melia gave a talk on the black hole at the center of our galaxy on September 24th. To find out more about Dr. Melia go here
    • Dr. Melia also has two recently published books out entitled:
      • The Edge of Infinity: Supermassive Black Holes
      • The Black Hole at the Center of Our Galaxy
      • These books can be found at the bookstore or online at Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
  • Dr. Michael Shupe gave a talk on The Standard Model on September 10th.
