Based on the conference registrations we have received through April 1 and the arrival/departure information you provided, we have reserved a sufficiently large block of rooms to accommodate everyone. However, it is necessary for each participant to contact the hotel individually and provide his/her name, precise arrival/departure information, and credit card number. At this time of year, rooms in this hotel normally run $230 per night, but we have been able to negotiate a special conference room base rate of $109 per night.

In order to get this rate, be sure to reserve your room under the block name "Physics String Vacuum Project". You may wish to wait until Thursday afternoon MST on April 3 before contacting the hotel, since this special room rate is still being entered into their computer system.

All talks and discussions on Thursday and Friday will be held in one of the Hotel meeting rooms; likewise, our Conference Dinner on Friday evening (no charge to registered conference participants) will also be held within the Hotel. For other meals, numerous restaurants with a variety of different cuisines are located immediately adjacent to the Conference Hotel. (Talks and discussions on Saturday will be held a few blocks away in the Physics Department on the University of Arizona campus.)
