SHARE is a suit of programs in Fortran and Mathematica
implementing the statistical model of particle production in relativistic
heavy-ion collisions. It is designed for the community of heavy-ion
physicists. SHARE computes yields and ratios of particles. In its Fortran version it
optimizes the thermal parameters given experimental results. SHARE utilizes all confirmed
particles listed in Particle Data Tables. The distribution comprises a self explanatory datafile
listing all particles considered, and their properties.
Isospin channels, chemical equilibrium and nonequilibrium, finite width,
and weak decay contamination of particle yields are considered. The program is very versatile and requires
considerable understanding of its operational structure. Users must study the manual. However, a very user friendly
online version is now available which provides all the functions except for fitting of experimental data, please visit and enjoy
this web page.
