This demonstration guide is based on the PIRA 200 listing provided by the Physics Instructional Resource Association. It represents a list of the top 200 demonstrations most used by colleges and universities to teach physics. This list is not all inclusive, but is a good reference for instructors looking for demonstration ideas for their physics classes.
