Summer 2011 - Kayaking the Green River

During the early summer of 2011, my friend Kate and I accompanied 14 other Sierra Club members on a 97 mile kayak/canoe trip on the Green River in Utah. There were seven people in kayaks, eight people sharing four canoes and one solo canoer.

Throughout these links, "Mile 26" refers to 26 miles upstream of the confluence of the Green and Colorado rivers. This confluence lies inside Canyonlands National Park.

The images have been divided into two groups: Green River - Part 1 and Green River - Part 2.
