Photos From Around the Country

This is an arctic fox taken while floating on an iceberg in the Canadian Arctic - or well actually it was at the Detroit Zoo.

Amusing how these trees just happened to grow in rows... This was taken in the southern unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest in Wisconsin.

This is part of the Twin Lights Lighthouse which is in New Jersey.

This is sunset over the Columbia River near the Washington/British Columbia border.

This is from the temperate rain forest in Olympic National Park. These are called "nurselogs". Because the downed trees provide more nutrients than the soil, many trees begin their life growing on top of a recently downed tree.

This is my proof that I reached the Pacific Ocean. This is in part of Olympic National Park.
