The Majesty That Is Utah

Delicate Arch
This is of course the famous delicate arch at Arches National Park. I realize this doesn't look anywhere near as good as you have probably seen before, but I didn't have time to wait for better conditions.

Landscape Arch
This is part of landscape arch. Note the extremely dark shadows caused by using Fujichrome Velvia film.

Partition Arch
This is partition arch. Far down below there are actually some people hiking.

Ice and Rock
This photo is taken from near the Devils Garden campground in Arches National Park. The La Sal mountains of Utah are in the background.

Devils Garden
This photo is taken from near the Devils Garden trailhead in Arches National Park. Again, the La Sal mountains are in the background.

Island in the Sky
This is taken in the "Island in the Sky" section of Canyonlands National Park. The line in the lower left is part of a long jeep road through the park. We again see the La Sal mountains in the background.

Reaching for the Sky
This is taken in the "Windows" section of Canyonlands National Park. It is typical of the strange formations visible in that area. I haven't gotten around to editing out the annoying vertical scratch.

Silent Guardian
This is also taken in the "Windows" section of Canyonlands National Park. It is in a beautiful area known as "Chesler Park".
