My handle is derived from my hobby, Precision Aerobatic Control line Model Aviation (also known as CLPA, F2B, or simply Aerobatics). Control line flying is the only type of model aviation allowing the modeler to maintain physical contact with his craft. Standing in the center of a circle, the pilot flys her aircraft through out the hemisphere overhead via control lines extending from a handle she holds.  In  precision aerobatics the pilot flys a specific pattern of many maneuvers. The goal is consistent precision in the shape and placement of each manuver: A well accomplished pattern is some what like an aerial ballet. That's me in the RayBans and straw hat, with an airplane called the "Chipmunk," an attractive and very maneuverable aircraft.
If you want to learn more about this great sport/hobby -- one that can be a distracter from the toils of life, a place to make lasting friends, and a great way to teach kids a thing or two about life values and natural science (physics, math, etc.) -- check out the links built into this site.
