During the first two weeks of the program, Dr Bickle taught a brief course in machine shop use and safety. Upon completion of his course I received a key to his shop, and now have the ability to design & construct a wide variety of tools. Also, under the guidance of James Little & John Lawvere I was introduced to a large pool of the Universities top research scientists.
